The holidays are coming quickly, many of you have started shopping or making lists. While you're considering how you will give, please keep in mind the PCaT Angel Tree which continues to support the Center for Hope and Safety.
Please note the tag system is no longer being used. You can choose any gift you like, for any age and leave it under the Angel Tree in the narthex. The Center for Hope and Safety has requested gifts a week earlier to give them more time to sort, with that in mind please drop off unwrapped gifts by Sunday, December 11.
The Angel Tree will be up to receive beginning Sunday, November 27th.
The Center for Hope & Safety (formerly Shelter Our Sisters) is dedicated to assisting Bergen County, NJ victims and survivors of domestic violence, and their children, by turning fear into safety, helplessness into strength, and isolation into hope.
We are planning to meet in the church lounge from 12-2pm. Join us each Tuesday. Everyone (including men) are welcome to join us for crocheting, knitting, conversation and all around fun time.
We've chosen a second book for our discussion in January.
Horse: a novel by Geraldine Brooks
We will all discuss Jen Maxfield’s, More After the Break.
Her book follows up with 10 stories she covered in the past and shares updates on the people she interviewed.
